Sounds like a really interesting and fun podcast to listen to as it happens if not to binge - I'm certainly into the subject matter!

I found very interesting the info you provided about how RSS works and why YouTube is so much easier in organization. What you described as possible - channels and tags - for podcasts would be so helpful! It's really bizarre it hasn't happened yet. For myself, I have been very resistant to YouTube and its panoply of options because I don't actually want more visual content in my life. I spend my workdays eyes on screen and watch streaming TV in the evenings. Audio is appealing because I can listen while I'm on metro or walking or quilting - and can let my eyes get some much needed time away from screens. But the vast amount of knowledge on YouTube is making it more and more difficult to resist.

Yeah, I really wonder why no podcast player has tried to implement it yet. And I definitely agree re: wanting some time away from visual content. I find I "listen" to more YouTube stuff than I actually watch. There are a surprising number of YouTubers who make content that's audio-only friendly, even if it has a visual element. (Dan Olson of Folding Ideas creates visually stunning documentaries but you can still understand everything just by listening)
